Join us for a day-long women's retreat located in the natural beauty of Carmel Valley at a private residence. This experience combines the ancient wisdom of Chinese medicine and yoga to guide women through the natural cycles and transitions of life.

We’ll begin with a yoga session from 10am to noon. Participants will then enjoy a nourishing meal and the opportunity to swim in a beautiful creek, lay in the sun or take a little rest.

The afternoon features a lecture module exploring the retreat's core teachings, followed by a meal prepared by our host.

The day concludes with a two-hour sound and acupuncture session. It is a collaboration featuring acoustic instruments from around the world. It incorporates storytelling, mythology, and astrology by Sumeet Banerji, creating a multi-sensory journey that honors both the rhythms of nature and the cycles of womanhood.

Angela Patriarca LAc.

Angela is an acupuncturist and yoga enthusiast. With eight years as a licensed acupuncturist and twenty years studying East Asian healing arts, she has been guided by teachers Jonathan Patriarca, Master HR Suresh, Regina Brunig, Cat Seavey, Troy Munsey, Sumeet Banerji, Steve Pyka and Jeffrey Yuen. Her main teacher at present is the natural world of the Sierra mountains where she lives.

Currently based in North Fork, California, Angela practices from her quiet home studio and clinic. She is developing specialized curriculum that combines Chinese medicine theory with yoga asana to support women navigating perimenopause, drawing from two decades of study to offer comprehensive tools for this important life transition.

Catlin Anne Seavey

Catlin studied Hatha Yoga in Nepal with Himalayan Yogini Devika Gurung learning about meditation, asana and deep pressure healing techniques before heading to pursue her 200 hr Teacher Certification in Ashtanga Vinyasa with Mahesh at his Abhijna School of Yoga and Meditation in Varkala, Kerala, India. In 2020 she trained in Yin Yoga with the Regenerative Yoga School of Colorado and with the VA in Mindful Resistance for Trauma recovery in 2023. She continues to train and study regularly with Angela Patriarca, Charlotte Hills and the Bheemashakti Yoga School. She has been teaching since 2014 and is currently based in San Diego.

Frances Marie

Frances Marie has been a devoted practitioner and ceremonialist in the healing arts for over a decade offering…breathwork, dense energy clearing, plant spirit medicine work, soul retrieval and life coaching for spiritual attunement. She stewards her sanctuary space~Aletheia, nestled among the oak forest and river deep in Carmel Valley which is home to all who come for transformational sessions, sound healing events, rose petal birthday blessings, journeys and ceremonial gatherings. She is honored helping people remember their truth.

Frances’ formal teaching and inspiration began as soon as she was born to this lifetime, followed by the great Baba Hari Dass of Mount Madonna Center and Sri Ram Ashram in Haridwar, India-both spiritual homes of her heart. Anjay Skirwa of Harbin Retreat Center and Pura Vida in Yelapa, Mexico. Her greatest teacher has been allowing the innate wisdom of her ancient healer to come through along with the incredible teachings and relationship with her four teenagers.

Sumeet Banerji

Sumeet Banerji is a lifelong student of sound, posture and dreaming. His studies in music began under the influence of his grandmother Sushri Shanti Banerji. Her guidance led him to ancient and esoteric branches of Indian music and gave him the confidence to study with world renowned masters.

Based in San Francisco, he continues to develop and adapt these learnings to the contexts of sleep, meditation and subconscious exploration.
