The session begins with a brief discussion about Yoga Nidra, followed by breathing exercises and a few simple, optional postures.

As the session progresses, the focus will shift from instruction to music and storytelling. The musical set was conceived as a way to allow the body and nervous system to relax and reset.

Presenting instruments from all over the world, this event will be rooted in both ancient and modern musical traditions.

No prior experience is required. All are welcome.

Sumeet Banerji is a lifelong student of sound, posture and dreaming. His studies in music began under the influence of his grandmother Sushri Shanti Banerji. Her guidance led him to ancient and esoteric branches of Indian music and gave him the confidence to study with world renowned masters.

Based in San Francisco, he continues to develop and adapt these learnings to the contexts of sleep, meditation and subconscious exploration.
